Back when I was involved in a conservative church, I decided to ditch the T.V (along with wearing jeans because apparently that was oh so masculine), so I could make more time for God.
The experiment went for just over a year and ended when I was missing Anne of Green Gables too much. I needed a T.V to watch my videos. (Videos, how retro right?)
Nowadays, technology is far more reaching than just switching on the television and watching yourself an old mini-series. These days we are readily accessible at just a flick of a smartphonebutton. We take offence if our Facebook message has been seen and not responded to.
