Beauty, you do know you get a say on how the script goes right?

Sure, sure. (You say rolling your eyes).

You’re the director but at the moment you’re allowing every employee to have a say.

The cinematographer wants to have a say on how to shoot your best angles.

Your P.R assistant wants to coach you on what to say during interviews. Ya know. Just so you don’t mess up your pristine image.

The editor wants to cut out certain scenes. Your story doesn’t appeal to the masses. It’s downright sad, messy, and crazy. The people want joy, laughter, unicorns and happily ever afters.

So you shrink back.

News Flash.

Your story is as unique as your fingerprint. No matter how many times someone would like to think they’ve had the same experience as you reality is it isn’t quite the same.

Sometimes your story makes you feel alienated. Like no one would ‘get you’ anyway, so you don’t bother with sharing your story. I mean people will think you’re crazy after hearing it. Right?

From the outside you look like you have it together. You’re cool, calm and collected. (In a hipster chic kinda way, cold pressed coffee in hand).

On the inside though your mind is racing faster than a F1 motor car driver, and your navigator sucks. Instead of helping you slow down as you approach the bends their directions spin you out of control.

Sure you’ve made some progress and for that you should totally high five yourself but here’s the thing. Anxiety and depression is a part of your story and that is perfectly ok. There’s no need to run from it (because dear heart, you’re running so fast you’re going to end up tripping over your own feet).

I get it. Classic flight or fight response. Sometimes you go blank when that happens. Sometimes urgency and time constraints make your anxiety worse. You start talking fast and interrupting people. Sometimes it’s the opposite and you go completely quiet not knowing quite what to say or how to communicate your wants and needs well.

You feel unseen. Crazy even.

You’ve had people tell you to ‘pray it away’ or ‘just make the choice to be happy.

Ummm ok….

If only it were that simple.

Here’s the thing though. It’s a bandaid over the blistering, festering wound.

Plastering on happiness doesn’t heal the wound. It just covers it up.

That’s why you need an antidote. That’s where I come in.

You see I’ve experienced significant trauma like having my (now ex) husband go missing causing me to spiral into anxiety and depression.

Oh yeah, not to mention Post Traumatic Stress.

When I remarried years later my new husband and I struggled with infertility.

I’ve been there. The loathing of self, the sleepless nights and constant working so I could cover up my pain.

Those strategies didn’t work.

I get it. You want more than just affirmations that you repeat to yourself prior to that event or café date cause frankly, you’ve tried them. You still feel as if your hands + feet are sweating like you’ve been at Bikram Yoga and your heart is skipping as fast as a Crossfitter doing double unders. (And you feel a little clumsy too don’t you?)

You need something that actually helps you to feel those affirmations of value and worth.

Ways to awaken the fiery spirit you already have inside of you but have dulled down over the years.

Mirror, Mirror on the wall do you see yourself in these statements at all:

  • You feel like you’re crazy. No one understands you.
  • You want to be able to communicate your wants and needs clearly but you’ve got brain fog thanks to your anxiety/depression.
  • You have meltdowns when your schedule has been upset, when people are late (or you’re late), you’re put on the spot, get stuck in traffic, or when you’re given too much information at once. (Like this sentence).
  • You use the toilet at work to get respite.
  • You can’t switch off your mind. It’s going ALL DAY LONG.
  • You fill your day with ‘stuff’ because then you won’t have to process how you’re actually feeling.
  • You wish you were in a work place where you felt safe to discuss when your anxiety and depression is rearing its ugly head.
  • You are a perfectionist. You know how to be the ‘good’ girl but you still feel empty on the inside.
  • You hide your true self. You are too busy wanting to people please. (I mean, what if my friends knew I love Nickleback?).
  • You know you have inner spunk. It’s just that you’ve dulled the sparkle. You want to ignite the sparkler. (Hell, you want to make a damn sparkler bomb and let out your inner wildchild!)
  • Your style feels cramped. You lack confidence and you feel like you’re screaming in your head ‘why can’t you see me?

This is not for you if:

  • You are in the middle of significant trauma or mental health concerns. These significant health concerns include: an increase in feeling sad, hopeless and helpless, intrusive thoughts, changes in appetite, have increased irritability or outbursts of anger, impulsive and risk taking behaviours, thoughts of death/suicide/self harm. Please speak to a doctor/mental health professional.
  • You are not ready to move forward in action. You have the desire to talk more about the past and how to heal elements from it.

I am not a counsellor – that’s not what coaching is about. I am here for you when you are ready to move forward again, pick yourself up and start to tentatively move back into life again. 3 MONTH ‘RISING FROM THE ASHES’ PACKAGE

This 3 month series is for women who have anxiety and want to discover peace and clarity in their life. This peace and clarity will help you with the million questions that pop into your head, help you with making decisions, and be present. I will support you through the beautiful goals you will set and guide you from where you are to where you want to be.

Through these 6 one hour sessions (via Skype or Uber Conference) you will uncover what your anxiety triggers are and how to work alongside of them. This series is more for women who have done a lot of significant work with their anxiety and would just love extra guidance and support in their life or business ventures.

By the end of the series you will have explored:

  • How to have more fun in your life.
  • Recognise your anxiety triggers and how to work with them.
  • The importance of silence.
  • How to feel more and think less. (Worry less and trust more).
  • Decision making processes
  • Assertive communications. Learn how to say ‘no’ so that you can say ‘yes’ more to life!
  • Quit people pleasing.
  • Identify and set clear boundaries.
  • Using creativity to soothe your anxiety.

+ 1:1 access to individualised coaching. You get to chat (typically) once a fortnight for 1 hr with me about your anxiety and what’s going on in your life. We then strategise action steps for the next fortnight.

+ 6 sessions (1 hr Skype/Uber Conference sessions).

+ Unlimited email access. This online journalling process reveals a lot about yourself and your anxiety. You can email me your questions, written work and seek feedback. As a priority 1:1 client you will be responded to quickly and with appropriate steps and questions to guide you.

Worksheets and various resources to help you with your anxiety. These resources will give you clarity with your individual situation and help you with decisions that need to be made and with unlocking anxiety triggers that may be keeping you stuck and helpful tips/questions to guide you out of stucksville. These are designed to be easily implementable into your day.
