As a self confessed hippie of some sorts I’m often asked why I use a certain product, eat seemingly bizarre food items or read certain books.  Today I’m going to share with you some of my favourite things that are making a difference in my world.

# 1 Black Chicken Axilla Deodorant Paste

Axilla_storeI’ve been searching for the perfect all natural deodorant for years. One will either work in winter but not summer or may leave white marks on your clothes.  I had read great reviews on this product and it totally is worth the hype.  I wore this deodorant on super hot days at school (think 39 degrees people!), and at the end of the day I realised I had not needed to reapply! Holy freakin’ amazeballs!

What’s in this product (you’ll be pleasantly surprised no black chickens were harmed):

Shea Butter*, Coconut oil*, Camellia Tea oil*, Sodium Bicarbonate, Arrowroot, Kaolin Clay, Vitamin E, Vegetable Glycerin* and essential oils of Peppermint*, Cajaput*, Mandarin*, Clove, Rose Geranium, Lime*, Lavender* and Cedarwood*.  * Certified Organic ingredients

I purchased mine from: “Nourished Life.”

# 2 Binchotan Charcoal Toothbrush

BinchotanToothbrush_cb

I bought this after reading that it may help get rid of stains from my teeth. (Ummm so I like a good coffee ok?). The Binchotan charcoal is in the bristles of the toothbrush and is helpful for deodorising, removing plaque and preventing bacteria from growing on the brush.  I love how it makes my teeth oh so sparkly but still am not used to just using water on it so I always follow it up with Therese Kerr’s Divine Mouth rinse. The mouth rinse has spearmint and peppermint essential oils in it and a stack of other goodies.  Have only been using the toothbrush for a week so will update you on the results. I too purchased these from “Nourished Life.”

# 3 Claire Obeid’s Meditations

RYIR_Standard1

So I’ve really been getting into meditating after years of struggling to do so.  It’s super good for you and helps to quieten my ‘monkey mind.’  I have downloaded a few meditations in my time but these ones are so bliss! Claire Obeid from “The Wellness Project“, is a life coach who loves to help women step into lives of soulful surrender and full blown wellness. Claire has such a soothing voice, the music is lovely and helps you to focus in on being still and is not creepy.  I find some meditations super creepy or over the top ‘woo woo.’  These ones help me feel grounded and during bouts of insomnia have helped me to sleep. If you want to purchase it I am lovingly an affiliate link and would love for you to click on the link to the right hand side of this blog post. I only endorse things I lovingly use and approve.

# 4 Audra James Botanicals Skin Care Range

audra

I’ve raved about Audra before here on the blog.  I absolutely love her bespoke range of products.  Her skin care range keeps me well hydrated and when I wear it I feel like I’ve had my own mini day spa experience.  I’ve also been using her ‘snore no more’ essential blend in a diffuser since my snoring has increased since Baby Braybrooke’s increased growth. You can purchase Audra’s products here.

# 5 Life Coaching

IMG_1036

I’ve had the privilege of being coached and to coach others. Life coaching is not about ‘fixing you.’ It’s about helping you move from where you currently are to where you want to be.  This year I was able to be coached by the lovely Claire Baker at “This is Lifeblood.” She helped me to redefine what success looks like and after only one session I found out I was pregnant. I guess I must have released a few things after that session. (It was also a few weeks after our Beautiful You Life Coaching Training Day. Things shift in our world when we do what we are supposed to do).  I’ve lovingly nicknamed her the baby whisperer but she is so much more. She clearly radiates love and light, and is so genuine in all that she does. Go show her some love and head on over to her blog sometime. So much beauty.

If you are thinking about being life coached I can now say I am a Certified Beautiful You Life Coach.  I graduated from this course on Sunday.  I have had an absolute blast learning, growing and stretching myself.  I love the heart centred beauty behind the philosophy of “Beautiful You Life Coaching Academy.”  I will do a further post on this next week but I just wanted to say a big thank you to those who have been coaching with me while I was still studying the course and for believing in me by investing in yourselves. I have a massive heart of gratitude.  I have only two life coaching spots available this year. So jump on board if you are keen. Also if you would like to know more about the course I’d love to share with you my experience.

Shoot me off an email: thebutterflyhouse@dianabraybrooke.com  I’d love to hear from you.

So lovelies, what is lighting you up at the moment? What are your favourite things?  I would love to know.  Comment below and if you loved the post please share using the buttons below.
